Glitterati is not just an English bookshop but also an Aladdin’s cave of interesting and unusual gifts. 

Since April 2010 the shop has been located at Centro Diana Km 168 close to the Cayetano supermarket and  Diana Park Hotel.

Beverley, previously a teacher, focuses on a good selection of children’s books from puzzle and sticker books through to reference and study books as well as the favourite nursery rhymes and fairy stories you would expect to find.There are also a selection of children’s soft toys and presents for christenings and new babies. Teenagers are not forgotten either with  various sagas of vampires and the supernatural.

New lines to the shop (due to customer requests) are  children’s party bags and favours and a little gift box (as an alternative to the gift bag) much more practical for the piece of cake to take home after the party!  There are a selection of little gifts for boys and girls from 4 for €3. Also available are candles, party banners and invitation cards.

Also for parties are stunning masks in vibrant colours including ones with feathers.

The presentation and wrapping of a present makes such a difference and using her previous experience as an interior designer, Beverley is able to gift wrap and add individually hand made bows. There is also a free gift wrapping service.  Many of the design-led gifts have matching bags for an extra euro or two depending on the size. A new idea are re-useable wine bags and so much nicer than the throw away ones.

Beverley regularly goes to the big gift fairs in the UK to see the best  selection of the latest ideas and best prices.  The shop contains several cabinets with inexpensive jewellery, which can be boxed for a present if required.

The bookshop (with only new books) always has a large selection of paperbacks on offer at half price and constantly changing special offers.  The shelves are full of good value books on cookery, self help, reference and special interest.
